We are currently working to create Starr Sports Academy, a Non-Profit Youth Sports Complex that offers year-round soccer, street/roller hockey, and flag football leagues and training. Starr Sports Academy aims to give kids the opportunity to play sports and receive advanced training year-round regardless of their family’s financial ability.
PHASE 1:
We are currently in the 1st phase of the project, which includes all the planning, legal structuring, and budgeting. We will also have rough plans drafted of the complex which will then be submitted to the city for approval on the 39 acre piece of land we are interested in using.
PHASE 2:
Upon city approval, we will begin fundraising to purchase the land and build out the outdoor section of the complex, which includes 5 soccer fields, 4 flag football fields, 2 street/roller hockey rinks, a concession stand/bathroom building, a parking lot, and a storage building.
PHASE 3:
At the completion of Phase 2, we will begin running sports leagues and training on the outdoor section. During this time we will begin fundraising to build the approximately 250,000 square foot indoor complex.
